With over 15 years of experience, MYS Energy Inc. is redefining convenience and mobility. We operate a growing network of gas stations equipped with cutting-edge EV charging stations and modern convenience stores, designed to meet the evolving needs of every traveler.

Company Overview:

Malik Yousif Sons (MYS) Inc owns and operates 19 retail and non retail locations, largely focused in fuel retailing, quick service restaurants, and commercial real estate properties. Their operations are vast and diverse and reach across state borders and industries from Greencastle, Pennsylvania to Natalia, TX. MYS is converting its existing travel center in Steele, MO to a Travel Center of America (TA) franchise location by renovating the property it include:

Overview:

Travel Center of America (REMODEL) - Steele, MO In September 2020, MYS acquired the property, business, and transportation assets of AKAL Group of MO. After taking over, MYS grew monthly sales to over 500,000 gallons of diesel, 60,000 gallons of gasoline, $60,000 in food service, and over $200,000 inside sales from the convenience store. In 2021 and 2022, sales continued to grow and MYS consistently worked on to work on creating better margins through investing in more supplier relationships, better equipment, and strategic partnerships with it’s remodel plans with TA, Sonic, Subway, and Dunkin. Through this strategic partnership with TA, MYS stands to gain from an increase in overall business and to the value of the business. MYS begun construction in the winter of 2024 and continues to work towards a July opening date for the new Travel Center of America location.

malik m yousaf

Malik M Yousif is the chairman and president of the company. He began his business career in Punjab, Pakistan where he graduated from the University of Punjab with a Masters in Business Administration and developed his family trade business with Unilever exporting items throughout Pakistan. After arriving to the U.S., Mr. Yousif operated a series of businesses ranging from automobile dealerships to dry cleaners, eventually settling into a Jerry Subs & Pizza for 18 years before selling the business and property and transitioning to fuel retailing.

mohammad malik

Mohammad A Malik is the chief operating officer of the company. He leads business development and provides operational support to regional and store managers. Mohammad grew up working in the business and attending conferences before graduating from the University of Virginia in 2018 with Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Sustainable development. Shortly after graduating, Mohammad was responsible for the turn around and strategic sale of non performing locations.

Del Robertson

Del Robertson is the director of operations and oversees the day to day execution of all company locations. He previously served as an advisor to MYS and has over 25 years of executive experience at Sunoco LP, where he worked his way from an analyst to the regional director of the mid atlantic. Mr.Robertson also spent time as regional manager for 7-Eleven in Northern Virginia, overseeing over 300 locations.

mohammad h malik

Mohammad H Malik is the regional manager for the midwest market. He is Mr. Yousif’s younger son who also grew up working in the business and attending industry conferences. He graduated from George Mason university in 2021 with a degree in Economics. Mohammad has extensive retail experience grossing over $1M during his time retailing designer streetwear. Today, Mohammad is responsible for overseeing the management of the three midwest travel centers. Mohammad lives in Steele, MO as well and oversees all the locations daily.

Noor Jalal

Noor Jalal is a seasoned operator with over 10 of his own locations in the Mid-south. He is skilled in business negotiations, commercial real estate development, and new business development in TN, MO, and AR. He is currently in charge of the St Charles partnership and expansion.

Rajeev Kuma

Rajeev Kumar is the found of Southern Chef food concept with over 20 years of food service experience in both franchise and non franchise locations. He is a real estate developer and owner operator of a portfolio of gas stations, car washes, QSR franchises, and commercial real estate. Rajeev oversees commercial real estate partnerships in the MO and AR markets.

MYS Inc:

Summer Boggan is the general manager for the Steele, MO location which is converting to a Travel Center of America in 2023. She has over 5 years of retail management experience at quick service restaurants, grocery stores, and travel centers. She has been the general manager for MYS for two years and is involved in managing the entire location. She oversees day to day management of supervisors and employees and ensures adherence to company and franchise standards. Summer resides within one mile of the property and also operates as the area manager for nearby locations. Through our employment, Summer was able to leave her home town for the first time and represent MYS at multiple industry conferences, enabling her to add to her resume, expand her network, and develop a better mindset and perspective of the business and world we operate in. Khurram Malik is the assistant general manager for the Steele, MO location which is converting to a Travel Center of America in 2023. He has over 2 years of retail management experience at travel centers. He has been the assistant general manager for MYS for two years and is involved in managing the entire location. He will also be the boots on the ground for the entire project throughout construction and opening.

Deerfield Travel Center (Owned Real Estate)

To be TA Steele, MO Flagship MO location on 10 acres of property and currently offering 16 fuel positions, Shell branded gasoline, high flow diesel, 125 parking spots, a truck repair shop, Subway food concept, Southern Chef food concept, three showers, and a 7,000 sq ft store.To be remodeled to increase the store to 11,000 sq ft store, a three bay repair shop, a total of 6 showers, Dunkin, Subway (remodeled), and SONIC with a drive thru. Entire store interior and exterior to be remodeled to adhere to TA standards

MYS INC (Owned assets)

transportation logistics business with one driver, two trucks, and a tanker. Delivered over 4,000,000 gallons in 2022 and expect to continue growing with more trucks and tankers pre ordered.

Royal Ozarks Car Wash (Owned Real Estate)

Full service car wash, convenience store, with over 20 employees (Could be renovated to include a Yums brand concept inside)

Royal Ozarks BP (Owned Real Estate)

Gas station and convenience store being remodeled to include drive thru

Marion Travel Center (Owned Real Estate)

Rehabilitated 4-acre property and 8,000 sq ft business with 12 fueling positions including branded Sunoco Gasoline, high flow diesel, and two food concepts (Big Rock Pizza and Southern Chef) managed by 14 staff members

Blytheville Truck Stop (Owned Real Estate)

To be AmBest Truck stop with nine fueling positions offering VP branded gasoline, high flow diesel, and Birdshack Chicken food service offering managed by six employees.

Hazen Travel Center (Owned Real Estate)

Rehabilitated 3-acre property and 4,000 sq ft business with 12 fueling positions including Gasoline, high flow diesel, and two food concepts (Sbarro and MyKitchen) managed by 6 staff members

Blytheville Sunoco (Owned Real Estate)

Renovated convenience store with six fueling positions and southern cooking food concept managed by four employees.

North Aurora (Owned Real Estate)

Vacant parcel on major intersection (2.5 acres zoned for commercial use) to possibly be developed as a QSR or smaller format convenience store

Battlefield Sunoco

- Is the APLUS Sunoco Franchise which currently partners with Sunoco LP (oil company) in Manassas, VA. It is a gas station with six fueling positions, a 4000 sq ft store, and a quick service hispanic grab & go concept. It currently employees 18 team members inclusive of store management and it averages 200,000 gallons of gasoline, $90,000 of food service sales, and over $220,000 inside store sales.

16 fueling positions including high flow diesel. Currently includes Godfather’s Pizza franchise, Perfectly Southern food concept which are operated by 11 employees.

32 fueling positions including high flow diesel. Newly built 18,000 Sq Ft facility located on I-35 in Natalia, TX. Acquired in Nov 2024.
